Everyone is invited to become part of the William G. Selby and Marie Selby Foundation 50th Anniversary Celebration through The Arts Celebrate a Tapestry of Giving.
Whether the eloquence of an orchestra, the lilt of a poem or the grace of dance - the arts awakens our passion for living. And a life can only be vibrant and full through sharing and giving. Join those who understand the joy of heartfelt emotion and life as The Arts Celebrate a Tapestry of Giving.
Kate Alexander, Associate Director of Florida Studio Theatre is directing the performances that will include the Florida West Coast Symphony, Asolo Theatre, Circus Sarasota, The Players Kids, Sarasota Youth Opera, and FST Theatre School.
All Faiths Food Bank distributes 250,000 pounds of food each month to partner agencies. One million pounds of food was distributed to neighbors in DeSoto and Charlotte Counties, impacted by the three hurricanes of 2004. After school programs daily feed 850 low income children.
Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida serves 9,700 registered girls and over 3,200 registered adult volunteers. Girls, ages 5 through 17, from the Skyway Bridge to the Everglades are helped to grow strong in mind, body, and character.
