Become part of the William G. Selby and Marie Selby Foundation 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Poverty, need and homelessness affect many people in Southwest Florida, but those factors are especially difficult for families with young children and seniors.  Money raised through the Season of Sharing fund, a partnership between the Community Foundation of Sarasota County and the Herald-Tribune, is directly allocated to area social service agencies to address the neediest families in our region.  Season of Sharing provides last-resort funding.  Not one dollar goes to administrative costs.

 

Any donations that are made to the Season of Sharing Fund, will be matched dollar for dollar up to a total of $50,000 by the William G. Selby and Marie Selby Foundation. These donations must be made between June 1 and August 30 to qualify for the match. This enables everyone to be a philanthropist.

 

The Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Inc. meets all requirements specified by the Florida Solicitation of Contributions Act.  A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the division of consumer Services by calling Toll-free 1-800-435-7352, within the state.  Registration does not imply endorsement, approval or recommendation by the State.  One hundred percent (100%) of each contribution is received by the Community Foundation Registration #SC02471.
